What is Country 3:16?
"Country 3:16 is a message"
John 3:16 "says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not parish but have everlasting life." Country 3:16 is an effort to share the good news of Christ with country people through music.
19 - "Christ speaks to the disciples and said go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost."
20 - "teach them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the world....Amen."
9 - "As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, follow me . And he rose and followed him."
Christ called Matthew to follow him and in the verses that follow we find that others of like background (Matthews background) come sit down with Jesus and Matthew at a meal. Why?, you ask. Because Jesus was using Matthew to reach people like Matthew.
Country 3:16 is meant to be a conversation starter so that country people can share the Good News about Jesus with other country folks; cowboys and cowgirls, boots and jeans, Haggard and Jones & Western Movie lovers. Most can be found in the local farm and feed stores, ropin' arenas and/or buck-out pens.
"So lets share some Country 3:16!"
